
Are you on the edge of diabetes? You don’t have to face it alone. Sleepy Eye Medical Center is hosting The Edge: Prediabetes Workshop from 1-4 p.m. on Tuesday, October 7 in the Lower Level of Sleepy Eye Medical Center (SEMC).
This empowering one-day class, led by Ashley Borth, BSN, RN, PHN, Diabetes Education Nurse at SEMC, will give participants the tools to delay or prevent type 2 diabetes and learn simple, sustainable strategies for healthier living.
Workshop highlights include:
- Understanding prediabetes, diabetes, and risk factors
- Healthy meal planning made simple
- Easy ways to incorporate physical activity into daily life
- How to monitor blood sugar
- Practical strategies for making small changes with a big impact
- All participants receive a free meter
