Sleepy Eye Medical Center offers a Caregiver Support Group for caregivers, family members and advocates the third Wednesday of the month (beginning November 20, 2019) from 1-2 p.m. at SEMC. The group is open to all ages and welcomes anyone who cares for a loved one with a debilitating health condition, memory loss, dementia, or any other physical or mental condition.

Support groups can be a great source of comfort and strength. The mission of SEMC’s Caregiver Support Group is to provide a place for caregivers to gather and talk about their struggles and realize they are not alone.

Learn from others going through similar experiences as you.

  • Discuss solutions to common caregiving issues with other caregivers
  • Reduce feelings of isolation and stress
  • Learn about area resources
  • Learn about topics relative to caregiving
