Sleepy Eye Medical Center will offer a virtual prenatal class for expecting parents on Tuesday, September 15. The class will be led by SEMC staff but take place from 5-9 p.m. in the comfort of the participant’s home.

- Serious symptoms to report, premature labor, kick counts
- Breathing and relaxation techniques
- Normal, spontaneous vaginal delivery
- Comfort measures and pain management options during labor
- Obstetrical complications and interventions
- Breastfeeding and other feeding choices
- Unexpected outcomes
- Postpartum changes
- Home and nursery safety
- Care of your newborn and newborn characteristics
- Infant CPR and infant choking
