If you need care but prefer to stay home, Telehealth or E-visits are a convenient option. Amidst the COVID-19 outbreak, SEMC encourages patients to utilize this option if and when they are able to for clinic appointments. The following tips will help you prepare for an upcoming virtual visit with one of our care providers.
1.) Be sure you have a PC or laptop with a camera and microphone or a smart phone with a front-facing camera.
2.) Make sure you have a strong internet connection or a strong cellular connection if using a mobile device.
3.) Close all other programs on your computer or mobile device.
4.) If possible, arrange a private place for your visit with limited background noise and interruptions.
Tips for Those Using a PC or Laptop
1.) Please use one of the following browsers: Chrome, Safari, or Firefox. Internet Explorer will not work.
2.) Make sure your operating system’s Privacy Settings allow camera and microphone access.
3.) Make sure you have a microphone and that it is working. If not, you can use headphones that have a built-in microphone.
