Enjoy a fun night out with your mother, sisters or girlfriends while supporting a great cause. Paint the Town Pink is a breast cancer awareness event and fundraiser by SEMC that brings together women of all ages to support one another and spread hope. The event takes place at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 4 at the Sleepy Eye Event Center.
Be Creative: With the help and expertise of A to Zinnia Floral and Gift, individualize one of three fall projects for your home.
Be Inspired: Listen to local breast cancer survivors and sisters, Alisha Schmidt and Andrea Merkel, talk about their journey toward healing. *Sponsored by Northland Lumber Run
Be Supported: Dr. Karlyn Armbruster of SEMC will talk about ways women can lower their risk for breast cancer and lead healthy lives.
Complimentary hor d’oeurves and desserts will be served, and a cash bar will be available. Additional fundraising activities, including a wine pull, may also take place. Wear pink to support those who’ve been affected by breast cancer!
*Doors open at 6 p.m., but the event will begin at 6:30 p.m.
The cost to attend is $35. Proceeds benefit SEMC’s Mammography Department and cover project expenses. Please note that to ensure adequate supplies, pre-registration (non-refundable) is required.
