We are ready to meet your healthcare needs in a safe, inviting environment. Our staff are taking extra precautions, including screening all who enter, practicing social distancing, wearing masks, and thoroughly cleaning waiting areas and surfaces throughout our facilities. It’s important that you receive safe, convenient care when you need it, and Sleepy Eye Medical Center is here to make sure that happens.
Ensuring the health and safety of patients and staff is a team effort. You also play an important role in keeping yourself and others safe. As you prepare for your upcoming appointment at SEMC, please take a moment to review the information below. We appreciate your cooperation as we seek to create a safe, inviting environment for all patients.
1.) You will be screened at the front door. This will include a temperature reading, along with a number of health questions. If you don’t have a mask, you will be given one to wear.
2.) You will need to wear the mask at all times while you are in the building.
3.) Please refrain from coming to your appointment early; this will help avoid overcrowding in waiting areas.
4.) Following registration, you may be instructed to wait in your vehicle until you receive a call from us indicating that we are ready to see you.
5.) Please do not come to your appointment if either you or a direct family member are experiencing any of the following symptoms: fever, cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, body aches or headaches. If you feel you need medical care for your symptoms, please call 507-794-3691.
