SEMC’s Caregiver Support Group will resume in-person gatherings in August. A morning and evening session will be offered on the second Tuesday of every month, 10-11 a.m. and 6-7 p.m. at SEMC.
The mission of the group is to provide a place for caregivers to gather and talk about their struggles and realize they are not alone.
Join us to:
-discuss solutions to common caregiver issues with other caregivers
-reduce feelings of isolation and stress
-learn about area resources
-learn about topics relative to caregiving
-learn about support for loved ones with dementia and cognitive impairments
-build a support system with people who understand
Refreshments provided. Free of charge. Feel free to bring a friend for support!
Meetings are led by Lanna Raatz, RN, SEMC Discharge Planner/Swingbed Coordinator, 507-794-8455.
