As of January 20, people in the following groups are now eligible to make appointments at select vaccination sites for the COVID-19 vaccine:
- Minnesotans ages 65 and over
- Pre-k through grades 12 educators
- Child care workers
Scheduling an Appointment
Currently, SEMC does not have vaccine available for patients. We will let you know if/when we do receive vaccine for eligible patients. In the meantime, you have the option to make an appointment at one of the nine pilot community vaccination sites across the state: Anoka, Brooklyn Center, Fergus Falls, Marshall, Mountain Iron, North Mankato, Rochester, St. Cloud, and Thief River Falls.
Appointments for pilot sites are made available every Tuesday at noon. To schedule an appointment, call 612-426-7230 or toll free at 833-431-2053. You may also schedule an appointment online: click here.
Instructions for Child Care Workers and Educators
Please do not attempt to make an appointment unless your employer notifies you that you’ve been selected to receive a vaccine. Child care programs and schools will work directly with employees to get an appointment through a state-sponsored appointment scheduling portal. Due to the limited supply of vaccine, schools will prioritize employees based on face-to-face interaction with children, and child care providers will use a random selection process.
Learn More and Stay Informed
For the latest information on vaccine distribution, please visit the state’s website. We will share vaccine updates on our website and Facebook page as we receive them as well.
