Sleepy Eye Medical Center, along with Brown County Public Health, South Central Minnesota EMS System and Child Passenger Safety Car Seat Installation & Education Service, will offer a free car seat checkup clinic from 4:30-7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 12 in the parking lot at SEMC.
Certified child passenger safety technicians will check for recalls and ensure all child safety seats are installed by manufacturer specifications. Each seat check takes 30-40 minutes. Participants should bring all manuals for their vehicle(s) and seat(s).
Appointments are required for car seat checks and can be made by calling Brown County Public Health at 507-233-6820 from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
