Alzheimer’s and Dementia Support Group

Sleepy Eye Medical Center offers an Alzheimer’s and Dementia Support Group for family members and caregivers the second Tuesday of the month (beginning November 12, 2019) from 6-7 p.m. at SEMC.

The support group, conducted by a trained Alzheimer’s Association® facilitator, is a safe place for caregivers, family and friends of persons with dementia to:

• Develop a support system
• Exchange practical information on caregiving challenges and possible solutions
• Talk through issues and ways of coping
• Share feelings, needs and concerns
• Learn about community resources
