Flu season is just around the corner. Vaccination is the best way to reduce your risk from seasonal flu and its potentially serious complications. Everyone 6 months and older should get a flu vaccine every year with rare exceptions. By getting your annual flu vaccine, you also protect your loved ones, coworkers, community, and people at high risk of developing flu-related complications.
There are many vaccine options to choose from. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention does not recommend any one flu vaccine over another. The most important thing is to get a flu vaccine every year. If you have questions about which flu vaccine to get, please talk with your healthcare provider. More information is also available at Who Should Get Vaccinated.
