DESCRIPTION:Lace up your shoes and join us for a refreshing start to the summer! This community 5K run/walk is a great way to get moving\, enjoy the outdoors\, and connect with others who value health and wellness. Whether you’re chasing a personal best or simply enjoying a relaxed walk on the trail\, all paces and ages are welcome. \nThis year’s event is proudly hosted by the Sleepy Eye Medical Center Wellness Committee in partnership with Powerhouse Nutrition. \nRegistration Details\nDate: Saturday\, June 6\, 2026 (rain or shine)\nRace Start: 8 a.m.\nLocation: Sleepy Eye Bike Trail\nEarly Check-In: Friday\, June 5 at Powerhouse Nutrition (time 2:30-5:30 p.m.)\nRace Day Check-In & Registration: 7-7:45 a.m. at the east entrance of Allison Park\, Sleepy Eye\nCost: $40\nT-Shirt Deadline: Register by Monday\, May 11 to guarantee your commemorative race t-shirt. After this date\, shirts will be distributed on a first-come\, first-served basis. \nNote: Online registration will close at 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday\, June 3. Same-day (in-person) registrations will be accepted on race day.  \nWhat to Expect\n\nMedals for the top three male and female finishers\nA healthy snack breakfast for all participants\nA commemorative short-sleeve t-shirt (ages 13 and up)\nA welcoming\, supportive atmosphere for runners and walkers of all levels\nChildren 12 and under participate free (registration still required) with a registered adult. Shirts not available for this age group.\n\nAdditional Information\n\nStrollers welcome\nNo dogs permitted\nSame-day registration will be available\n\nCome out\, enjoy the trail and sunshine\, and kick off your summer with a little movement and a lot of community spirit!
