Additional fundraising activities\, including a wine pull\, may also take place. DESCRIPTION:Sleepy Eye Medical Center\, in conjunction with Minnesota River Area Agency of Aging\,® Inc.\, will offer an four-week workshop titled “A Matter of Balance” on Mondays and Wednesdays from October 1-24. Meetings will take place from 1-3 p.m. in the Lower Level of SEMC. \nThis workshop helps people practice strategies to manage falls and increase activity levels. Areas of focus include learning to view falls as controllable and setting goals to increase activity\, strength and balance. In addition\, participants will learn how to make changes to reduce fall risks at home. \nThose Who Will Benefit\n\nAnyone who is concerned about falls\nAnyone who has fallen in the past\nAnyone interested in improving balance\, strength and flexibility\nAdults 60 years of age or older\n\nRegistration\nYou can register in two ways: \n1.) SUMMARY:Breastfeeding Support Group
DESCRIPTION:Sleepy Eye Medical Center offers a Breastfeeding Support Group to provide ongoing support for breastfeeding moms in the weeks and months following birth. The group meets on the first Tuesday of every month at 6:30 p.m. in the Union Room at Sleepy Eye Medical Center. \nSupport group topics include\, but are not limited to: \n\nMilk supply\nTeething\nBreastfeeding and returning to work\nPumping and more\n\nMeetings are facilitated by our Certified Lactation Counselor but driven by the conversations initiated by moms.
