DESCRIPTION:Enjoy a fun night out with your mother\, sisters or girlfriends while supporting a great cause. Paint the Town Pink is a breast cancer awareness event and fundraiser by SEMC that brings together women of all ages to support one another and spread hope. The event takes place at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday\, October 4 at the Sleepy Eye Event Center. \nBe Creative\, Be Inspired and Be Supported\n\n\nBe Creative: With the help and expertise of A to Zinnia Floral and Gift\, individualize one of three fall projects for your home. \nBe Inspired: Listen to local breast cancer survivors and sisters\, Alisha Schmidt and Andrea Merkel\, talk about their journey toward healing. *Sponsored by Northland Lumber Run \nBe Supported: Dr. Karlyn Armbruster of SEMC will talk about ways women can lower their risk for breast cancer and lead healthy lives. \nEvent Details\nComplimentary hor d’oeurves and desserts will be served\, and a cash bar will be available. Additional fundraising activities\, including a wine pull\, may also take place. Wear pink to support those who’ve been affected by breast cancer! \n*Doors open at 6 p.m.\, but the event will begin at 6:30 p.m. \nCost and Registration\nThe cost to attend is $35. Proceeds benefit SEMC’s Mammography Department and cover project expenses. Please note that to ensure adequate supplies\, pre-registration (non-refundable) is required. SUMMARY:Foundation Golf Tournament
DESCRIPTION:The fourteenth annual Sleepy Eye Medical Center Golf Tournament is on Thursday\, June 1 at the Sleepy Eye Golf Club. Check-in will begin at 11:30 a.m.\, followed by a 12 p.m. shotgun start. \nThis 18-hole\, three-person best ball tournament is a fundraiser for the Sleepy Eye Healthcare Foundation\, a 501 (c)(3) organization that provides financial support to the medical center\, its patients and area communities. The tournament includes a Mulligans and skins game\, several prize drawings and dinner to follow. \nThis fundraiser is made possible by the support of local and corporate sponsors and participants.
